This portable UV lamp features 9 bright, UV LEDs for rapidly checking large parcels for fluorescence. Its shorter, 380nm wavelength LEDs fall more into the UV spectrum and produce a greater fluorescent effect than longer wavelength, bluer LEDs. It operates for about 40 hours on 3 AAA batteries (not supplied). The lamp is sealed with O-rings, making it water resistant. Measuring only 3.8" long, this LED UV light can be conveniently taken with you in its supplied carrying holster.
