The Hanneman Filter Set provides the gemologist with a simple, fast, and effective way to characterize many gemstones. The set contains a Synthetic Emerald Filter, to be used in conjunction with a Chelsea Filter (shown above) and a Synthetic Emerald Filter, which helps distinguish synthetic from natural emeralds. The set also contains an Aqua Filter for differentiating blue gemstones such as aquamarine, topaz, sapphire, and tanzanite. The Ruby Filter helps you distinguish ruby from other red gemstones including pink sapphire, spinel, and tourmaline. The filters, set in 35mm slide mounts, come with an instruction booklet.
