The Krüss Fiber Optic Light Source uses a long-life 8 Volt, 20 Watt halogen lamp to put bright, cold light where you want it. The brightness is controlled without color change. It comes with a port to attach an adapter (not included) to illuminate the wavelength scale of the Krüss spectroscope GMKR1504 and has automatic switching between 110 and 240 Volts.
