Durston Double D4 158mm Rolling

Durston Double D4 158mm Rolling Mill by Durston Tools. This rolling mill is made from one piece of cast iron. It has two sets of rolls, the top set for flat rolling and the bottom set grooved for square wire rolling. Both sets of rolls also have extension rollers. The top rolls incorporate four half rounds and the bottom rolls an additional three half rounds. This unit is supplied with two turning levers. The first lever is intended for heavy rolling-it includes a gear reduction of 11-1. The second turning lever is best suited for lighter rolling at twice the speed with a gear ratio of 5-1. The top mill has an extra wide flat area of 158mm between two rollers with a diameter of 60 mm, each enabling a maximum roll thickness of 6mm. The side extensions allow for half round rolling of 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.5mm. All gearing is covered with plastic housing.
